Laundromat Attendant

Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Laundromat Attendant and be the friendly face that ensures a seamless, efficient, and welcoming laundry experience for our customers. In this energetic role, you will oversee daily operations of the laundromat, assist customers with their laundry needs, maintain cleanliness and organization of the facility, and ensure all equipment functions smoothly. Your positive attitude and attention to detail will help create a clean, safe, and customer-focused environment where patrons feel valued and satisfied. Duties Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service throughout their visit Operate and monitor laundry machines, dryers, and other equipment to ensure proper functioning Assist customers with loading, unloading, and selecting appropriate laundry cycles Maintain cleanliness of the laundromat by sweeping, mopping, sanitizing surfaces, and managing waste Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering and cash handling procedures Perform basic maintenance checks on machines and report any malfunctions promptly Keep the facility organized, stocked with supplies like detergents and fabric softeners Skills Previous hotel or hospitality experience is highly desirable for delivering exceptional customer service Strong knowledge of laundry operations, dry cleaning processes, and cleaning procedures Excellent communication skills to assist customers effectively and courteously Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and transactions Experience with cashiering systems or point-of-sale (POS) terminals is a plus Attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness standards and machine upkeep Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Join us in creating a positive environment where cleanliness meets customer satisfaction!
