We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Laundry Aide to join our housekeeping team at Grand Villa Assisted Living in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. As a Laundry Aide, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our residents' personal belongings and linens. Responsibilities:

Collect, sort, and transport soiled laundry and personal items from resident rooms and common areas to the laundry facilities Operate laundry equipment, including washing, drying, and ironing, to ensure prompt and efficient processing of laundry Fold, package, and deliver clean laundry to resident rooms and common areas Maintain a clean and organized laundry area, adhering to infection control practices to prevent the spread of infection Monitor and report any maintenance issues with laundry equipment to ensure prompt repair Provide excellent customer service to residents, families, and staff by responding promptly to requests and concerns Collaborate with other housekeeping staff to ensure efficient and effective cleaning and laundry operations

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent customer service and communication skills Ability to lift 25 pounds and stand for long periods Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed
