Hemingford Community Care Center Laundry Attendant, full-time Flexible schedule, mostly weekday shifts Hemingford Community Care Center is a skilled nursing and rehabilitation community where compassionate care and professional growth go hand in hand. What you'll do: Sorts soiled linens (sheets, towels, resident clothing) into appropriate baskets Washes and dries linens and clothing per facility procedures Folds and stacks clean linens, preparing them for delivery Loads and transports clean linens on covered carts to designated areas Prepares resident clothing on hangers or racks for return Delivers clean clothing and linens to the correct resident rooms Organizes resident closets and places folded items in drawers Verifies all items are returned to the correct resident Maintains a clean, organized, and disinfected laundry area at shift end Follows all infection control policies and assists with other assigned duties What we offer: Competitive hourly paybased on experience 401(k) with company match Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance options Generouspaidtime off(PTO) What we're looking for: High school diploma, equivalent, or currently enrolled in high school Laundry experience in a healthcare setting preferred Ability to read, speak, and understand English Able to move and work in various positions, including tight or confined spaces Willingness to work around body fluids and communicable diseases Ability to lift, push, or pull 50-100 lbs. without assistance Capable of standing or walking for extended periods Adequate vision and hearing (with or without assistive devices) to perform duties Meets facility health and employment requirements Why us: Our Laundry Staff care for a geriatric population that depends on consistent, knowledgeable, and compassionate care.
