Job Description
Hotel Laundry Attendant Performed all laundry operations to ensure guest rooms were supplied with clean, sanitized linens and towels. Stripped used bed linens, pillowcases, towels, and other laundry items from guest rooms after check-out and prepared them for washing. Sorted laundry by color, fabric type, and level of soiling before operating commercial washers and dryers. Folded, organized, and stored clean linens according to hotel standards. Maintained an adequate inventory of clean sheets, pillowcases, towels, washcloths, blankets, and other linens to support the housekeeping department in preparing rooms for arriving guests. Inspected linens for stains, damage, and excessive wear, treating stains when possible and removing damaged items from service. Followed proper safety, sanitation, and infection-control procedures when handling soiled linens and using laundry chemicals. Worked closely with housekeeping staff to ensure a continuous supply of clean linens throughout each shift, helping rooms remain on schedule for guest check-ins. Kept the laundry room clean, organized, and stocked with detergents and other supplies while maintaining commercial laundry equipment and reporting any malfunctions to management. Demonstrated strong time management, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hotel environment while consistently meeting quality and productivity standards.
