Duties Operate industrial laundry machines such as washers and dryers to clean hotel linens, towels, and garments efficiently. Manage heavy lifting tasks and push carts to transport large loads of laundry between workstations and storage areas. Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area by regularly sanitizing equipment and work surfaces in compliance with safety protocols. Assist with garment care by inspecting textiles for damage or stains and performing basic repairs if necessary. Follow all safety standards related to manual handling, textile cleaning procedures, and equipment operation to ensure a safe working environment. Requirements Prior experience or familiarity with cleaning, laundry services, or textile cleaning is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and pushing carts safely. Basic math skills for measuring detergents and managing laundry loads accurately. Knowledge of safety standards in production environments, including proper use of laundry detergents and safety protocol adherence. Strong attention to sanitation practices to ensure all textiles are cleaned to the highest hygiene standards.
