Job Overview We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Laundromat Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will ensure the cleanliness and proper operation of our laundromat facilities while providing excellent customer service. This role is essential in maintaining a welcoming environment for our customers and ensuring their laundry needs are met efficiently and professionally. Previous experience in hospitality, hotel services, or dry cleaning is a plus, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn and are physically active. Duties Operate and monitor laundry machines, ensuring proper functioning and safety standards are maintained Assist customers with machine usage, payment processing, and answering questions about services offered Maintain cleanliness of the laundromat, including tidying up work areas and cleaning machines as needed Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities Perform basic math calculations for transactions and change dispensing Restock supplies such as detergents or laundry aids to ensure smooth operations Ensure safety protocols are followed to create a secure environment for both staff and customers Provide friendly customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving any issues promptly Experience Previous experience in hotel, hospitality, or dry cleaning environments is advantageous but not required Familiarity with laundry operations or cleaning services is preferred Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately Experience in cashiering or cash handling is a plus Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude Ability to work independently and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in customer service, laundry operations, and facility maintenance within a supportive team environment.
