Responsibilities:

Process Laundry:

Sort, wash, dry, fold, and press facility linens, towels, and personal resident clothing.

Manage Personal Items:

Inventory, label, and organize resident clothing upon admission to prevent mix-ups or lost items.

Handle Soiled Materials:

Collect and transport soiled linens safely using designated carts while separating contaminated items per infection protocols.

Deliver Supplies:

Return freshly laundered clothing and clean linens directly to resident rooms, closets, and floor storage areas.

Maintain Cleanliness:

Clean and sanitize washers, dryers, lint traps, sorting tables, and the overall laundry workspace.

Requirements:

• Ability to follow written and oral instructions concerning the mixing of cleaning compounds, liquids, disinfecting solutions, etc
• Ability to work independently
• Possess flexibility, integrity, and a strong work ethic
• Ability to work effectively with the residents and personnel
• Must provide a criminal background check
