Laundry Mechanic/Facilities Maintenance Technician Spin Cycle Coin Laundry of Montgomery Albuquerque, NM Job Details Full-time $18 - $22 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Computer operation Computer literacy High school diploma or GED Driver's License Electrical systems Electrical diagnostics Productivity software Full Job Description Spin Cycle Laundromats is seeking a full-time Laundry Mechanic / Facilities Maintenance Technician to support operations across multiple Albuquerque locations. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional with strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience who takes pride in keeping equipment running at peak performance.
Position Overview:
You will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing commercial laundry equipment and facility systems. This includes washers, dryers, pumps, swamp coolers etc…Equipment must be maintained to operating standards to ensure reliability and efficiency across all stores.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair commercial laundry and facility equipment. Perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime. Read and interpret electrical schematics and troubleshoot circuits. Maintain equipment to strict operational tolerances. Travel between multiple locations to complete service calls. Communicate clearly with management regarding repairs and priorities.
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Strong mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools. Solid understanding of electrical systems and circuitry. Ability to read and troubleshoot electrical schematics. Valid driver's license with own reliable transportation. Basic computer skills (email, internet, Microsoft Office). Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Physically capable of standing for extended periods and performing hands-on work.
Preferred Experience:
3+ years in maintenance or industrial repair. 2+ years in electrical troubleshooting.
Backgrounds such as:
aircraft mechanic, millwright, HVAC, factory maintenance, or military mechanical roles.
Schedule & Work Environment:
Full-time, Monday-Friday. 8-hour day shifts. Occasional overtime as needed (infrequent). Travel required (~50%) between local locations.
