Weekend Days Position Summary:
Provide a variety of services to include, but not limited to, collecting, sorting, distributing and stocking linen and laundry within assigned areas. Ensure adherence to Hospitals and departmental policies and procedures. No patient care assignment.
Detailed responsibilities:
LINEN
  • Collect soiled linen from designated areas for transporting to the laundry holding area(s); load and unload soiled or fresh linen for delivery to assigned area(s)
LINEN DISTRIBUTION
  • Distribute clean linen to assigned stock points
LINEN STOCK
  • Stock linen according to department guidelines; monitor and maintain linen inventory as required
EQUIPMENT & SUPPLIES
  • Ensure proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies SERVICE
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by providing high quality service meeting or exceeding department customer service goals SAFETY
  • Promote workplace safety throughout regular course of duties

Nonessential:
Bilingual English, Spanish, Keres, Tewa, Tiwa, Towa, Zuni, or Navajo Computer and data entry skills
