Pay Rate:
$17.00 per hour Part-time positions and weekends are mandatory Position Summary The Linen Distribution Attendant is responsible for receiving, organizing, distributing, and tracking linen supplies throughout the facility. This position ensures all departments are adequately stocked with clean linens while maintaining inventory accuracy and a clean, organized work environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Receive, count, sort, and store clean linens.
Deliver linens, towels, and related items to designated departments and locations.
Collect soiled linens and prepare them for transport to the laundry service.
Monitor and maintain linen inventory levels.
Conduct routine inventory counts and report shortages, damaged items, or discrepancies.
Keep linen storage areas, carts, and distribution locations clean and organized.
Respond promptly to linen requests from departments and staff.
Follow all safety, sanitation, and infection control procedures.
Safely operate linen carts and material-handling equipment.
Perform other duties as assigned by management. Minimum Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older.
Must possess a high school diploma or GED.
Must have a valid driver's license.
Must have reliable personal transportation.
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the shift.
Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in linen distribution, laundry services, housekeeping, hospitality, or healthcare.
Experience with inventory control and supply management.
