Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties:

Sorts dried articles according to typeFolds and places items in appropriate storage areaSorts torn and stained articlesSorts and counts articles to verify quantities on laundry requisitionsSoaks contaminated articles and processes in de-staining cycleClean lint traps and weeps laundry roomLoads articles into washer, driers and ironersStarts machine that automatically washes and rinses articlesLifts clean, wet articles from washer and places them successfully into the driers for measured time cyclesEnsure that hotel linen is properly folded as directed and accurate inventory is keptMust properly utilize laundry equipment as neededAll duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and property policies, practices, and procedures

Skills, Education and Other Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred but not requiredAbility to read, analyze and interpret OSHA required Safety Data Sheets (SDS)Identification that establishes identityIdentification that establishes the right to work in the United States
