Responsibilities Operate laundry machines and equipment to wash, dry, fold, and iron linens, towels, uniforms. Sort laundry items based on fabric type, color, and cleaning requirements to ensure optimal results Perform routine cleaning of laundry areas, including sinks, machines, and storage spaces to uphold safety and hygiene standards Handle dry cleaning processes when necessary, ensuring delicate items are treated with appropriate techniques Assist with the collection and delivery of laundry items throughout the property or designated areas Monitor inventory levels of detergents, cleaning supplies, and laundry accessories; notify management when supplies need replenishing Follow all safety protocols and proper handling procedures for chemicals and equipment to maintain a safe working environment Skills Proven experience in laundry operations or cleaning services is preferred; hotel experience is a plus Strong knowledge of laundry techniques including washing, drying, ironing, and dry cleaning processes Excellent attention to detail to ensure all linens and garments meet quality standards Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness Good physical stamina for standing long hours, lifting heavy loads, and performing repetitive tasks Clear understanding of safety procedures related to chemical handling and equipment operation Positive attitude with strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members Embark on a fulfilling career where your dedication to cleanliness transforms guest experiences!
