Responsibilities Operate commercial laundry machines efficiently, including washers, dryers, and specialty equipment for dry cleaning when applicable. Sort, load, and unload laundry items with care to prevent damage and ensure quality results. Follow proper procedures for stain removal, fabric care, and garment handling to maintain the integrity of each item. Maintain cleanliness of laundry areas by organizing supplies and ensuring equipment is sanitized regularly. Assist with inventory management by tracking linen supplies and notifying supervisors when stock needs replenishing. Adhere to safety protocols and proper chemical handling procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Collaborate with housekeeping staff to deliver clean linens promptly and meet operational demands. Experience Prior experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates. Knowledge of laundry processes including washing, drying, folding, and dry cleaning techniques. Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and quality control. Ability to operate laundry machinery safely and efficiently. Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures related to laundry operations. Experience in a hospitality or hotel environment is a plus but not mandatory; enthusiasm for learning is valued.
