Job Description
Job Summary The Laundry Attendant is responsible for ensuring all linens and clothing items are laundered, cleaned, and maintained to a high standard. This role is crucial in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards, particularly in a hotel setting. Must be able to work quickly and efficiently. Speed is of the utmost importance. Duties
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and store all linens and clothing items
- Operate laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, and irons
- Inspect linens for stains or damage and treat them accordingly
- Maintain inventory of all linens and uniforms
- Ensure all laundry areas are kept clean and organized
- Assist with dry cleaning tasks when necessary Qualifications
- Previous experience in laundry operations preferred
- Knowledge of different fabrics and their appropriate care methods
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail to ensure quality standards are met
- Strong organizational skills to manage inventory effectively
