Hotel Breakfast/Laundry Attendant SureStay by Best Western Cambridge Job Summary SureStay by Best Western is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Breakfast & Laundry Attendant to ensure our guests enjoy a clean, comfortable stay and a welcoming breakfast experience. This dual-role position is responsible for preparing and maintaining the breakfast area while also handling hotel laundry operations. The ideal candidate is organized, efficient, and committed to excellent guest service. Key Responsibilities Breakfast Duties Set up, prepare, and maintain the complimentary breakfast according to brand standards Ensure food is fresh, properly stocked, and attractively presented Monitor breakfast area cleanliness, including tables, counters, floors, and equipment Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines Assist guests courteously and professionally during breakfast hours Break down and clean breakfast area after service Laundry Duties Wash, dry, fold, and organize hotel linens, towels, and bedding Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry room Inspect linens for stains or damage and report issues to management Ensure adequate linen inventory for housekeeping needs General Duties Follow SureStay by Best Western brand standards and hotel policies Communicate effectively with housekeeping and front desk staff Report maintenance or supply needs to management Maintain a positive, guest-focused attitude at all times Qualifications Previous hotel, housekeeping, or food service experience preferred (not required) Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed Strong attention to detail and time-management skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Reliable, punctual, and professional appearance Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 30-40 lbs Ability to work in warm environments (kitchen/laundry areas) Benefits Employee hotel discounts Flexible scheduling Supportive team environment
