FT/ 80 hours per pay period
Facility:
Miami Valley Hospital The Linen Distribution Attendant is responsible for performing the collection of soiled linen, cart loading, delivering clean linen to user areas and participation in linen inventories, in accordance with established standards. Per JACHO / OSHA, the Linen Distribution Attendant must be responsible for wearing gloves and hospital issued scrubs and/or other Personal Protective Equipment as required, when collecting soiled linen. The Linen Distribution Attendant maintains the Scrub Suit exchange system in stocking of scrubs in user areas.
Education Minimum Level of Education Required:
No requirement Additional requirements: Preferred educational qualifications: High school completion / GED
•Must be 18 years of age due to equipment handling
Experience Minimum Level of Experience Required:
No prior job-related work experience Preferred experience: Prior Laundry production Knowledge/Skills Knowledge in laundry production, stocking and/or inventory is a plus
