This position is part-time and nights only working 18-24/hr a week with mandatory weekend shifts. We are seeking a responsible and reliable individual with a professional attitude who enjoys working with people, cleaning, and doing laundry. Prior customer service and cash handling experience is required; and coin laundry/dry cleaners or housekeeping experience is preferred.

Responsibilities include:

Ensuring equipment is being used correctly by providing instructions and assistance on machine selection and product usage. Assisting with questions or problems and resolving any issues. Maintaining the clean and orderly appearance of the laundromat through regular shift cleaning, daily scheduled cleaning tasks, and assigned deep cleaning tasks. Providing a professional laundry service by accepting and returning customer's laundry and processing orders from start to finish following detailed customer preferences and company procedures.

Abilities required:

Work well with minimal supervision and within a team. Follow both written and oral instructions. Be self starting and motivated. Have excellent attention to detail. Ability to identify and resolve problems.

Must possess:

High school diploma or GED. Basic math, computer, and laundry skills. Positive attitude and willingness to learn. Communication and time management skills. The Laundry Attendant position will be in frequent contact with customers and customer's (dirty) laundry and will experience various levels of clean and dirty while working. The right applicant will be able to work alone in a busy environment while staying on task and understanding the importance of quality and urgency. They will need to be able lift up to 30lbs and bend/stand/move arms for extended periods of time.
