Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Laundry Attendant and become a vital part of delivering exceptional cleanliness and service in a fast-paced hospitality environment. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring all linens, towels, uniforms, and guest clothing are expertly cleaned, pressed, and prepared to meet the highest standards of quality and hygiene. Your energetic approach will help create a welcoming atmosphere for guests and support the seamless operation of our facility. Duties Operate laundry machines and equipment efficiently to process large volumes of linens, towels, and garments Sort laundry items by color, fabric type, and cleaning requirements to ensure proper handling Perform cleaning tasks including stain removal, folding, pressing, and packaging of laundry items Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area to promote safety and efficiency Assist with dry cleaning processes when necessary, ensuring delicate or specialized items are handled correctly Monitor inventory levels of detergents, cleaning supplies, and laundry chemicals; notify management when supplies need replenishing Follow all safety procedures and health regulations to ensure a safe working environment Requirements Previous experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not required; training will be provided Knowledge of laundry techniques including washing, drying, folding, and stain removal Ability to operate commercial laundry equipment safely and effectively Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy loads Familiarity with dry cleaning processes is a plus but not mandatory Embark on a rewarding career where your dedication to cleanliness helps elevate guest experiences!
