LGC Hospitality Staffing is hiring dependable and hardworking Laundry Attendants to support hotels, resorts, healthcare facilities, senior living communities, and other hospitality environments. This temporary, on-call opportunity is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, staying organized, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness. As a Laundry Attendant, you will be responsible for washing, drying, folding, sorting, and distributing linens, towels, and other laundry items while ensuring cleanliness, quality, and efficiency throughout daily operations. Responsibilities Sort, wash, dry, fold, and organize linens, towels, uniforms, and other laundry items. Operate commercial washers, dryers, and laundry equipment safely and efficiently. Inspect laundry items for stains, damage, and cleanliness before returning them to circulation. Properly handle and separate clean and soiled linens according to facility procedures. Load and unload laundry machines while following appropriate washing and drying procedures. Fold, stack, and organize clean laundry for storage and distribution. Maintain adequate inventory of clean linens, towels, and laundry supplies. Transport and distribute clean laundry to designated departments or storage areas. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laundry workspace. Follow proper sanitation procedures, infection control guidelines, and workplace safety standards. Report equipment malfunctions, damaged linens, or supply shortages to supervisors. Assist housekeeping and other departments with laundry-related needs. Arrive on time, prepared to work, and represent LGC Hospitality Staffing professionally. Work Environments Hotels and resorts Healthcare facilities and hospitals Senior living and assisted living communities Extended-stay hotels Conference and hospitality facilities Commercial laundry operations Requirements Previous laundry, housekeeping, hospitality, or commercial cleaning experience preferred. Experience operating commercial laundry equipment is a plus. Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 40-50 pounds. Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and performing repetitive tasks for extended periods. Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and detail. Ability to work efficiently while maintaining quality standards. Knowledge of proper laundry handling, sanitation, and safety procedures preferred. Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team. Reliable transportation and flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
