Laundry Aide

Laundry Aide (Full-Time) Flint Ridge Nursing & Rehabilitation Center - Newark, Ohio Flint Ridge Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Full-Time Laundry Aide to join our team. This role is essential in supporting a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our residents. Schedule:

Full-Time Every Other Weekend (EOW) Required Alternating weekly schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday (on non-working weekends) Wednesday, Thursday, Friday (on working weekends)

Position Summary:

The Laundry Aide is responsible for collecting, sorting, washing, drying, folding, and distributing facility linens and resident personal clothing in accordance with established policies and infection control standards.

Essential Responsibilities:

Collect and transport soiled laundry safely and efficiently Sort, wash, dry, and fold linens and resident clothing Ensure proper labeling and return of personal items Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area Follow infection control and safety procedures at all times Report equipment malfunctions or supply needs to supervisor Assist housekeeping department as needed

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED preferred Previous laundry or healthcare experience preferred, but not required Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weight Strong attention to detail and organization Reliable attendance and teamwork mindset Why Join Flint Ridge?
