Full Job Description Job Overview Sorting and Preparing:

Separate soiled linens and towels by color, fabric type, and degree of staining before loading machines.

Machine Operation:

Load and unload industrial washers and dryers, selecting correct water temperatures, cycle settings, and detergent amounts according to safety and fabric guidelines.

Stain Removal and Inspection:

Check laundered items for damage, tears, or persistent spots, applying proper stain-removal techniques and setting aside unserviceable textiles.

Finishing and Storing:

Fold clean sheets, pillowcases, towels, and uniforms, then stock them neatly in designated linen storage rooms.

Maintenance and Sanitation:

Clean lint traps, wipe down machinery, sweep and mop floors, and keep the laundry work area hygienic and safe.

Inventory and Tracking:

Count and log linen stock, report shortages or damaged items to management, and notify supervisors when cleaning supplies run low.

Pay:

$13.00 - $14.00 per hour
