Duties Operate garment care machines such as industrial washers, dryers with precision and care. Sort, load, and unload laundry loads using push carts or other materials handling tools while adhering to safety protocols. Use appropriate laundry detergents and cleaning agents to ensure effective sanitation without damaging textiles. Follow established safety standards in production environments, including proper manual handling techniques for heavy lifting. Maintain cleanliness of laundry areas by performing routine sanitation tasks and ensuring all equipment is in good working order. Assist with the collection and distribution of clean textiles, ensuring timely delivery to designated areas or residents. Document laundry processes accurately, including tracking loads, materials used, and maintenance needs for equipment. Qualifications Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting of laundry loads and materials handling equipment. Basic math skills for measuring detergents, calculating load sizes, and managing inventory. Knowledge of sanitation procedures and safety standards related to textile cleaning and laundry services. Experience operating garment care machines such as industrial washers, dryers, or dry cleaning equipment is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Strong attention to detail with a focus on garment care and cleanliness standards. Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Customer service orientation with the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
