Overview Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Laundry Attendant, where your energy and attention to detail will keep our facilities running smoothly and our guests satisfied. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and proper handling of linens, uniforms, and textiles, ensuring they meet the highest standards of sanitation and garment care. Your proactive approach and dedication will contribute to a welcoming environment, supporting our commitment to exceptional service and operational excellence. Responsibilities Operate laundry machines, including industrial washers and dryers, to efficiently clean linens, towels, uniforms, and other textiles. Handle materials with care, ensuring proper sorting, folding, and storage of laundry items. Use appropriate laundry detergents and cleaning agents while adhering to safety standards in production. Manage heavy lifting tasks safely using push carts or other equipment to transport laundry loads throughout the facility. Maintain sanitation standards by regularly cleaning work areas and following safety protocol adherence during all laundry processes. Assist with garment care machine operation, including dry cleaning equipment when necessary, to ensure textiles are cleaned according to type and fabric care instructions. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to laundry service requests and ensuring timely delivery of clean textiles. Requirements Prior experience in cleaning or laundry services is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate. Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking. Basic math skills for measuring detergents and calculating load capacities. Knowledge of sanitation practices and safety standards in production environments. Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control for textile cleaning and garment care. Ability to operate laundry machinery such as industrial washers, dryers, and dry cleaning equipment effectively. Good communication skills with a positive attitude toward teamwork and customer service.
