Job description: Join our dynamic team as a Part Time Evening Laundry Attendant and become a vital part of our commitment to cleanliness, quality, and exceptional service. We are looking for someone 4-5 days a week from 3:00PM-7:00PM at the starting rate of $20.00 In this energetic role, you will be responsible for ensuring all laundry and textile cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and safely during evening shifts. Your attention to detail and dedication will help maintain the highest standards of sanitation and garment care, creating a welcoming environment for our guests and staff alike. Duties Operate garment care machines such as industrial washers, dryers, and dry cleaning equipment to process textiles effectively. Handle laundry materials with care, including sorting, loading push carts, and managing heavy loads through manual handling techniques. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards across all laundry areas by regularly cleaning equipment and workspaces. Use proper laundry detergents and chemicals safely, adhering to all safety protocols to prevent accidents or contamination. Assist with textiles handling by sorting, folding, and preparing items for delivery or storage while ensuring garment care standards are met. Follow safety procedures consistently during heavy lifting, materials handling, and equipment operation to prevent injuries. Support customer service efforts by ensuring timely processing of laundry services and responding to any special requests or concerns. Experience Prior experience in laundry services, textile cleaning, or related roles is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Knowledge of sanitation practices and safety standards in production environments is advantageous. Basic math skills for measuring chemicals, calculating loads, and managing inventory are helpful. Ability to operate garment care machinery such as industrial dryers and dry cleaning equipment confidently. Strong manual handling skills with an understanding of safe lifting techniques for heavy loads. Excellent attention to detail to ensure all items are cleaned thoroughly and correctly maintained. Customer service orientation with a positive attitude towards assisting team members and guests.
