Duties Operate industrial laundry machines including washers, dryers, and garment care equipment to process linens, clothing, and textiles efficiently. Handle materials with manual dexterity, ensuring proper sorting, folding, and packaging of cleaned items. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of laundry areas by following strict safety standards in production. Use push carts and other equipment to transport heavy loads safely within the facility while adhering to manual handling protocols. Apply laundry detergents and cleaning agents correctly according to safety standards to ensure effective textile cleaning without damage. Monitor machine operation for proper functioning; perform routine maintenance or report issues promptly. Follow safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents or injuries during heavy lifting or equipment use; adhere to all safety standards in production environments. Skills Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and laundry services including textile cleaning, dry cleaning, and garment care machine operation. Ability to handle materials safely with manual handling skills; lift heavy loads comfortably while maintaining proper posture. Familiarity with sanitation procedures and safety standards in production environments to ensure a hygienic workspace. Basic math skills for measuring detergents, calculating load sizes, or managing inventory of supplies. Excellent customer service mindset to support hotel staff or guests when needed with laundry-related requests. Experience with industrial dryers and laundry washing equipment; understanding of textile care best practices. Ability to follow detailed safety protocols consistently while maintaining efficiency during evening shifts.
