Laundry Attendant for Vacation Rentals Turnovur

ABOUT TURNOVUR
Hello! Turnovur, LLC is a family owned business known for reliable and consistent vacation rental (Airbnb), hotel and residential cleaning in the Portland area. We value team players, high cleaning standards, great communication, and personal development and growth within the company. We are excited to continue to grow our mighty team of reliable, attentive cleaners. In addition, our administrative team prides itself on clear, supportive communication and kindness. If you like to do laundry we would love to hear from you! PAY- This is an hourly W2 position
- Pay is $18.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Flexibility with work hours, preferred shift starting between 7-8am most days, shifts may vary depending on availability at the laundry mat, the amount of laundry needing to be done
- Able to work independently with strong organizational and communication skills,
- Airbnb laundry at the laundry mat requires the laundry to stay with the correct units
- Hotel laundry requires multitasking and high communication skills, ability to also work as a team player
- Reliable transportation (must have access to your own car with a valid license)
- Reliable smartphone (must have access to a smartphone to access the apps we use daily)
- Previous laundry experience recommended, preferably with references
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Great communication skills
- Works well with and around various types of people
- we do use a laundry mat location for airbnb laundry shifts so there is a wide variety of people that come and go in this public setting, also working with our team and hotel staff at the hotel location
RESPONSIBILITIES
For Airbnb Laundry:
- Pick up bags of dirty laundry from the Turnovur storage unit, using your vehicle
- Drive yourself and the bags of dirty laundry to the designated laundry mat, unload, sort into washing machines
- Changing loads from washers to dryers, then folding the laundry into its matching sets, per clean bag and ensuring it is clearly labeled to the correct unit
- Return clean laundry bags to the Turnovur storage, using your vehicle
- Inventory all laundry bags, clean and dirty, in Turnovur storage unit, check all general restock inventories
For Hotel Laundry:
- Managing the flow of laundry: starting, changing washer/dryers, folding clean laundry, taking laundry to the restock closets per floor
- Setting out dirty laundry bins per floor, making sure they make it to the basement once check out rooms have been stripped
- At check out time 11am, going to every check out room and stripping the room, dirty laundry into dirty bins, collecting and taking garbage from rooms to basement, and garbage pick up area
- Working with our cleaning team and the hotel staff as needed, we follow the hotel guidelines
- Restocking of the clean laundry to the floors restock closets throughout the day, along with ensuring other restock items in these closets are stocked daily Seasonal work
- We have a busy season (Spring into Summer) and a slow season (Fall into Winter).
