We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented PRN Laundry Aide to join our team at Beaver Valley Rehabilitation and Healthcare. As part of our dedicated healthcare staff, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our facility by ensuring that all linens, clothing, and other items are properly cleaned, disinfected, and stored. Responsibilities:
Wash, dry, and fold clothing and other items to ensure they are clean and hygienic Operate commercial washing and drying machines to ensure proper cleaning and disinfection of items Fold, package, and hang clean linens and clothing for distribution to patients Maintain a clean and organized laundry area, including sorting, folding, and storing items in a timely and efficient manner Assist with special requests, such as washing and ironing gowns and uniforms for patients and staff Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless operations and efficient workflow
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required Ability to lift 25 pounds and stand for extended periods Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately Excellent organizational and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Work Environment:
Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with frequent interruptions Perform tasks that require attention to detail and the ability to work independently Work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care to our patients
