Laundry Attendant

We're off I-76, one mile from DSM and West Pharmaceuticals, surrounded by a variety of eateries. Hop on our free five-mile radius shuttle to visit Marsh Creek State Park or Exton Square, both 10 minutes away. QVC Studio Park and Valley Forge are both 20 minutes from us. Our Garden Grille serves breakfast, dinner, and evening room service. We are currently hiring a Laundry Attendant/Houseperson. The Laundry Attendant/Houseperson is responsible for using machines to clean articles such as towels and bedding. Sorts, folds and stores clean items. Additionally, thehouseperson (or houseman) is focused on the heavy-duty cleaning, organization, and upkeep of common areas, hallways, and back-of-house spaces. They act as the backbone of the housekeeping team by restocking supplies and delivering items to room attendants

RESPONSIBILITIES

Sorts all linen and separates and treats all stains. Loads laundry into washer and adds specified amount of detergent, soap, or other cleaning agents. Lifts clean, wet articles from washer and places them into dryers for measured time cycles. Sorts dried articles according to type. Folds and places items in appropriate locations for storage. Handles contaminated articles per company, franchise, and OSHA standards. Maintains the inventory of cleaning supplies and linen; informs the General Manager of any inventory needs. Maintains all laundry equipment and informs appropriate personnel of maintenance needs. Other duties as assigned. At GF we believe that people are the key to our success.
