Duties Operate garment care machines such as industrial washers, dryers, and dry cleaning equipment to process hotel linens, towels, uniforms, and other textiles efficiently. Handle laundry materials with care, including sorting, loading push carts, and managing heavy lifting tasks safely to prevent injury. Follow strict safety standards in production areas, adhering to safety protocols for manual handling and sanitation procedures. Maintain cleanliness of laundry areas and equipment to ensure a safe and hygienic working environment. Assist with materials handling by organizing linens for washing, drying, folding, and distribution throughout the hotel. Ensure all laundry services meet quality standards by inspecting textiles for stains or damages and applying appropriate cleaning methods. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to laundry requests from hotel staff and maintaining a positive attitude. Requirements Prior experience in hotel or textile laundry services is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate. Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting of linens and textiles safely and efficiently. Knowledge of sanitation standards and safety protocols in production environments. Basic math skills for measuring detergents and calculating load capacities. Familiarity with garment care machine operation such as industrial washers, dryers, and dry cleaning machines is advantageous. Strong attention to detail to ensure garments are cleaned thoroughly without damage. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
