Duties Operate commercial laundry machines such as tunnel washers, conveyor dryers, stackable dryers, and garment care machines safely and efficiently. Handle various laundry processes including washing with bleach or baking soda stain removal agents, steam cleaning, and mechanical stain removal techniques. Manage fabric care by performing laundry ironing, pressing machine operation, and folding using specialized equipment like laundry folding machines. Label garments accurately to ensure proper identification and tracking throughout the cleaning process. Maintain inventory levels of detergents, cleaning agents, and supplies while tracking usage to prevent shortages. Conduct quality checks on finished garments for cleanliness, damage, or stains; perform barrier washer operation when necessary for delicate items. Push carts and operate tunnel dryers to transport laundry efficiently across the facility while adhering to machine operation safety procedures. Assist with customer service tasks such as cashiering when required and ensure prompt response to customer inquiries regarding garment care. Keep the workspace clean and organized by following sanitation protocols and maintaining equipment in optimal condition. Qualifications Prior experience in hotel or commercial laundry environments is highly preferred. Familiarity with inventory tracking systems for supplies management. Strong understanding of machine operation safety procedures to prevent accidents or damage. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality control during laundry processing. Customer service skills with a friendly approach when interacting with clients or team members. Physical ability to stand for long periods, push carts, lift heavy loads, and perform repetitive tasks efficiently.
