Laundry Attendant

Responsibilities Operate laundry machines and equipment to wash, dry, and fold linens, towels, uniforms, and guest clothing with precision and care Sort laundry items according to type, color, and cleaning requirements to ensure optimal results Perform dry cleaning processes for delicate or specialty fabrics as needed Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area, including supplies inventory management Follow established safety protocols and proper handling procedures for cleaning chemicals and equipment Assist with minor repairs or troubleshooting of laundry machinery to minimize downtime Collaborate with housekeeping staff to ensure timely delivery of clean linens and maintain high standards of hygiene throughout the facility Qualifications Prior experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not required; training will be provided Strong knowledge of laundry techniques, including washing, drying, folding, and stain removal Ability to operate commercial laundry equipment safely and efficiently Excellent attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and quality control Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting heavy loads, and working in a fast-paced environment Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and safety procedures is a plus A positive attitude with strong teamwork skills and a commitment to guest satisfaction
