Pediatric Dental Hygienist

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Dental Hygienist to join our multi-office team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality dental hygiene care to children in our well respected, modern, and efficient offices. You will help ensure that our patients receive the best possible care, while promoting good oral health habits, all in a warm and loving environment. Duties Conduct thorough dental cleanings and assessments for pediatric patients and perform multiple preventive in office treatments (IE oral hygiene instruction, sealant placement) Educate children and their guardians on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits. Perform documentation review and maintain accurate patient records using FUSE (Patterson Dental). Assist in infection control procedures to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff. Collaborate with Pediatric Dentist in treatment planning. Work Days Monday-Thursday (7AM-2PM).

NO FRIDAYS OR WEEKENDS.

Requirements Previous experience in a pediatric dental setting is preferred. Also willing to accept applications from new graduate willing to learn practice philosophy. Strong understanding of infection control protocols and practices. Proficiency with electronic health systems, software, and digital radiology equipment. Excellent communication skills, especially when working with children and their families. An overall warm, kind, and compassionate person who takes pride in their ability to treat children. Flexible and team motivated. Documentation of all required PA state required licenses and continuing education. Pay:

$40.00 - $50.00 per hour
