This position requires a strong focus on customer service, the ability to manage cash transactions, and wash, dry, fold, and package clothing. Position would be 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM Saturday and Sunday. Responsibilities Punctuality Assist customers with a warm and welcoming demeanor. Handle point of sale operations, including processing payments and managing cash accurately. Day shift has a stronger focus on washing clothing, linens, and towels as needed, adhering to store standards for our wash, dry, and fold service, ensuring items are processed efficiently and returned promptly to guests. Perform basic cleaning duties in guest areas, including restrooms and common spaces. Skills Background in customer service. Laundry folding skills are essential. Able to work well independently with minimal supervision. Proficient in cash register operations and cash handling, demonstrating basic math skills for accurate transactions. We will teach you exactly how the point of sale operates. Able to launder items effectively while maintaining quality standards. Experience in cleaning practices, e.g. mopping, dusting, sweeping. Knowledge of laundromat processes is a plus but not required. Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact positively with customers and coworkers alike. Compensation $14 per hour starting, plus 10% commission on wash, dry, and fold completed Serious inquiries only.
