Job Description We are looking for a professional, reliable, and detail-oriented Laundry Technician to join our team as a contractor, part-time. Responsibilities Perform thorough and systematic washing, drying, and folding of customer laundry. Follow quality protocols, including sorting by color/fabric, checking pockets, and ensuring the "Boutique Fold" standard on all items. Communicate effectively, including logging intake weights and marking orders as ready for pickup. Sanitize and maintain your processing area to ensure a smoke-free and pet-hair-free environment for client clothes. Properly package and tag all clean laundry into the provided delivery bags for driver pickup. Requirements Must be reliable and committed to maintaining a consistent schedule (Monday intake, Tuesday completion). Must possess access to a 100% smoke-free environment and reliable pet-free washer, dryer, and processing area . Previous experience in professional washing, cleaning, housekeeping, or household management preferred. Must be able to pass a background check . Physical ability to perform repeated lifting of laundry bags (up to 30-40 lbs), folding, and standing for extended periods. Comfortable working with mobile apps to track orders.

Location:

Southside Chicago preferred Schedule Part-time hours (based on order volume). Must be available for Monday afternoon & Tuesday morning processing window. Flexible working hours (as long as turnaround is met).

Compensation & Benefits Starting Pay:

$0.80/lb ( ~$18-$25/hr depending on efficiency).

Supplies Provided:

Detergent, bags, scale, and other supplies are provided by the company. Contractor status (1099).

Pay:

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
