Job Description
Responsible for providing a constant supply of clean linen, terry, and other laundry for the hotel/resort Duties include, but are not limited to: Sorting laundry, treating stains, loading/unloading laundry into washing machines, transferring clean laundry to the dryer, operating an industrial size ironer, folding large and small terry Responsible for performing additional laundry services when necessary Responsible for performing preventative maintenance and regular cleaning of machines and carts, and emptying lint traps daily Responsible for turning in any guest items (blankets, clothing, jewelry, etc) to a manager to be returned to the guest as quickly as possible Responsible for assisting with other responsibilities and duties in the absence of other team members or other tasks assigned by the manager Must be detail-oriented to ensure quality standards Must be able to lift, push, pull, bend, and twist Must be willing to stand for long periods of time.
