Laundry Attendant Job Description Clemson Vacation Rentals is a vacation rental property management company located in the Upcountry of South Carolina. We are currently looking to add a Laundry Attendant to work with our team in Seneca! The Laundry Attendant is responsible for receiving, checking, cleaning, organizing, and distributing linens to housekeepers and other staff. This is a part-time position working within our laundry and linen facility in Seneca. The duties and requirements include, but are not limited to the following: Essential Functions Placing and organizing linens in appropriate areas for housekeepers. Receiving linen bags/bins and keeping counts. Collecting soiled linen bags from housekeepers and reporting if bags are missing. Wash, dry, fold, and bag linens Stain treatment when necessary Delivering linens during urgent situations. Making linen bags. Assisting housekeepers when necessary. Tracking weekly inventory of all linens, consumables inventory (i.e., toilet paper, soaps, etc.) Communicating with the cleaners Preparing and packaging fresh linen Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Must be able to frequently stand, walk, sit, use hands to handle or feel materials, reach with hands and arms Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and push heavy carts without assistance. Noise level in the environment is usually moderate and can be heavy when washers are in operation. Must have reliable transportation and be able to take specialty or urgent items to cleaners in the field as well as manage the process of getting specialty items returned in a timely manner Able to work flexible hours and days with some nights, weekends, and holidays Experience in Laundry operations (Preferred) High school or equivalent (Preferred) US work authorization (Required) Opportunity for advancement within the company as we grow Able to work flexible hours and days with some weekends and holidays required. Must be able to pass a background check and have verifiable work references.
