Overview Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Laundry Attendant, where your attention to detail and enthusiasm will help ensure our guests experience the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort. In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing laundry operations, maintaining pristine linens and uniforms, and supporting the overall cleanliness of our facility. Your proactive approach and dedication will contribute to creating a welcoming environment that guests love to return to. Duties Operate laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, and pressing machines to process linens, towels, uniforms, and guest clothing. Sort laundry items by color, fabric type, and cleaning requirements to ensure proper handling. Perform cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting laundry areas to uphold hygiene standards. Assist with dry cleaning processes when necessary, ensuring delicate or special items are handled with care. Monitor inventory levels of laundry supplies and notify management when restocking is needed. Ensure all laundry is properly folded, stored, or delivered to designated areas promptly. Follow safety procedures and maintain equipment in excellent working condition to prevent accidents or malfunctions. Requirements Previous experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Strong knowledge of laundry techniques, including washing, drying, ironing, and dry cleaning processes. Ability to operate laundry machinery safely and efficiently. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and quality control. Good physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy loads when necessary.
