Job Overview:
Sorting, folding, and delivering linen. Soiled Linen Sorting o Empties soiled linen bags and places contents on sorting belt. o Separates linen by classification (e.g., sheets, gowns, towels). o Loads overhead monorail or transport carts. o Cleans and disinfects sorting area and laundry carts. o Operates cart washer and ensures accurate cart weights. Washing and Drying o Weighs linen prior to loading to ensure proper load size. o Loads and unloads washers and dryers. o Selects appropriate wash formulas based on linen type. o Monitors linen wash quality and reports issues. o Completes wash and dryer load reports. Finishing and Folding o Loads clean linen into finishing and folding equipment. o Folds, stacks, and packages linen according to standard. o Identifies and removes unacceptable linen. o Completes production reports accurately. o Maintains cleanliness of workstation and break areas. Follows directions from lead employees or management. Wears personal protective equipment (PPE) as required. Reports equipment issues to the Maintenance Department. Adheres to all safety procedures and company policies.
Job Qualifications:
Experience in health industry a plus Background Screening and Drug Test required FLU Vaccine required High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent required. Successful applicants for this position must be fully vaccinated against
