Description:

The Laundry Attendant will assure efficient retrieval, processing, and distribution of laundry in order to provide exceptional laundry and valet service to our internal and external guests. You will play a crucial role in the presentation of the property by ensuring all textiles are well cared for and maintained. Responsibilities Ensure that the linen and terry of the resort is collected, cleaned and stored accurately and neatly Pickup of soiled linen and terry from laundry chute with laundry cart and transporting to laundry facility Sorting of linen and terry for processing Assist in processing the linen and terry used throughout the resort Feed washed linen into ironer and fold neatly Assist with the cleaning and pressing of guest items upon request Quickly and efficiently deliver linen through the resort to public areas, guest floors, and guest rooms Perform additional duties and projects as assigned by
Southall Leadership Requirements:
1-2 year of previous laundry or housekeeping experience preferred Ability to deal with guest and team member concerns in a friendly and positive manner Ability to read, write, and speak English sufficiently to understand and communicate with guests and team members; must have excellent telephone etiquette skills Considerable knowledge of computer systems for registration, reservations, financial and back-up systems Available to work weekends, evenings and/or holidays Must be able to life 20lbs Must be able to walk, stand for prolonged periods as needed High School Diploma preferred.
