In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently handling all laundry operations, including washing, drying, folding, and maintaining linens and towels to meet the hotel's quality standards . Your positive attitude and commitment to cleanliness will contribute significantly to creating a welcoming environment for our guests and supporting our team's seamless operation. Responsibilities Operate laundry machines such as washers, dryers, and specialty cleaning equipment with precision and care. Sort, load, and unload laundry items including linens, towels, and rags. Perform cleaning tasks like sorting, stain removal, fabric inspection and washing to ensure all items meet quality standards. Perform folding of all linen, towels, blankets, etc and stock them in shelves in organized manner. Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area by organizing supplies and ensuring equipment is clean and in good working order. Follow safety procedures related to chemical handling and machine operation to ensure a safe working environment. Collaborate with housekeeping staff to deliver clean linens promptly and efficiently for guest rooms and public areas. Experience Prior experience in laundry operations or hotel housekeeping is required; training will be provided. Familiarity with laundry equipment such as commercial washers and dryers machines is advantageous. Knowledge of cleaning techniques including stain removal and fabric care enhances performance in this role. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and highly physical environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
