In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of linens and resident clothing, ensuring a high standard of hygiene and quality. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to excellence in service. Duties Operate laundry machines, including washers and dryers. Sort linens and guest garments efficiently to optimize washing cycles and ensure proper handling. Perform cleaning tasks such as folding and organizing laundry items for timely distribution. Maintain cleanliness of laundry areas, including equipment sanitation and storage spaces. Assist with the collection and delivery of laundry items within the facility or to designated areas. Follow safety and infection control protocols related to chemical handling and equipment operation to ensure a safe working environment. Ensure linen closets are stocked for floor staff to use. Requirements Prior experience in laundry services is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Knowledge of laundry procedures, including washing, drying, and folding. Ability to operate laundry machinery safely and efficiently. Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and quality standards. Good physical stamina for standing, lifting, bending, and moving heavy laundry loads throughout shifts. Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork.
