A Laundry Worker washes, dries, and folds clothes for customers at a laundromat. Works in a commercial laundry or for a company that provides laundry services for businesses, including hospitals, hotels and other businesses that use large quantities of linens.
Sorting linens, towels, top of bed and other laundry items by color, size, and material Packing laundry items based on packing sheet for clean cleaning crews. Washing items with commercial laundry equipment following proper sanitization protocols Drying items with commercial laundry equipment following proper load limit protocols. Cleaning and maintaining laundry room area and equipment. Unloading laundry from commercial dryers Stocking laundry supplies such as detergent, bleach, laundry bags and fabric softener Creating laundry tags with identifiable customer information
Requirements:
Previous commercial laundry experience preferred. Ability to regularly lift over 20 lbs. Reliable Transportation Valid Driver's License Able to work weekends and holidays as needed.
