$20.23 per hour

Management & Training Corporation (MTC) operates the Bluebonnet Detention Facility in Anson, TX. We provide a safe and secure working environment for our staff while helping non-citizens gain valuable skills and treatment necessary for success upon release. What you'll do: You'll be responsible for proper use and maintenance of laundry equipment and maintaining records of laundry operations in compliance with Management & Training Corporation (MTC) and customer directives.
Essential Functions:
Operate laundry equipment. Perform routine and preventive maintenance on equipment. Perform tests on wash formulas. Provide the receipt, storage, repair and issue of detainee necessities, and implement inventory control procedures. Maintain related records and preparation for related reports. Direct the work of detainees assigned to assist in the laundry. Requires long periods of walking and standing Requires the pushing and pulling of laundry carts and lifting of laundry bags full of laundry which could weigh up to 30 lbs.
Education and Experience Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent One (1) year of experience in institutional laundry operations, including experience in the following areas: receiving, inventory and shipping of supplies required. Must successfully complete required pre-service training. Valid driver's license in the state of Texas with an acceptable driving record required, unless waived by management.
