All paid positions, including internships, are encouraged to apply. Duties Operate pressing machines and hand-press shirts to achieve a crisp, wrinkle-free finish. Inspect garments for stains, damages, or irregularities and notify supervisors of any issues. Follow proper laundry procedures to ensure shirts are cleaned, pressed, and returned promptly. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pressing area to ensure safety and efficiency. Handle customer requests professionally, ensuring timely delivery of pressed shirts. Record garment details accurately using basic math skills for inventory and tracking purposes. Assist with other laundry-related tasks such as folding, sorting, and preparing garments for delivery or pickup. Qualifications Previous experience in hotel or hospitality laundry services is preferred but not required. Knowledge of dry cleaning processes and laundry procedures is a plus. Strong attention to detail with an eye for quality finishing. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks efficiently. Basic math skills for inventory management and transaction handling. Excellent customer service skills to address guest needs courteously.
