Job Description

Clean Linen Technician Position Summary :
Laundry Support Technician processes, sanitizes, and distributes facility linens. Ensure strict adherence to infection control policies, maintaining a vital supply chain for patient safety and comfort. Transports clean and soiled linens from all areas in the hospital to the laundry department. Manually loading/unloading heavy wheeled carts and maintain compliance and sanitation standards Restocks carts. Issue pillows as needed and document usage to track inventory.
Qualifications :
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required Able to read, write and count. Must be able to follow instructions. Ability to communicate well,
Training and Experience:
Must have current and valid Class C driver s license Must be 21 years of age or older Previous laundry, dry cleaning or hospital Environmental Service experience a plus
Job Knowledge:
Knowledge of all types of linens and general truck maintenance.
Unusual Physical Demands and Working Conditions :
Stand, bend and walk for extended periods Pulling and pushing carts Heavy lifting Exposure to infectious diseases
