Duties Operate garment care machines such as industrial washers, dryers, and dry cleaning equipment to ensure proper cleaning and maintenance of textiles. Handle laundry materials with care, including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and organizing garments and linens. Use push carts and other equipment to transport heavy loads safely across the facility while adhering to manual handling safety standards. Maintain sanitation standards by properly using laundry detergents, cleaning agents, and disinfectants according to safety protocols. Perform routine inspection of textiles for damages or stains and apply appropriate cleaning techniques or notify supervisors for special treatments like dry cleaning. Follow safety procedures diligently during all laundry operations to prevent accidents or injuries related to heavy lifting or machinery use. Assist with customer service by ensuring timely processing of laundry services and addressing any special requests or concerns professionally. Skills Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and textile care best practices. Experience operating laundry machines such as industrial washers, dryers, and dry cleaning equipment. Ability to handle materials safely using proper manual handling techniques and push carts for transporting heavy loads. Familiarity with sanitation standards, laundry detergents, and safety protocols in production environments. Basic math skills for measuring detergents, calculating load capacities, and managing inventory. Excellent attention to detail for garment inspection and quality control. Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and providing customer service when needed. Pay:
