Job Description
Plant Startup and Wash Technician The Plant Startup and Laundry Technician opens our plant each morning, arriving one hour ahead of our pressing team (around 4AM in summer, 5AM in winter) to get machines running and the plant ready for the day. Beyond opening tasks, this role processes our starch laundry loads (typically 10-20 per day), operates our specialized laundry equipment for select garment categories, and manages multi-hour soak treatments for stain removal. This person also picks up overflow work in wash, dry, fold, and comforter cleaning as needed. The ideal candidate is an early riser who's reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple laundry processes at once.
