This leadership position is ideal for a hospitality professional with handson experience in hotel laundry operations, team supervision, and luxury service standards. Position SummaryThe Laundry Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the laundry department, ensuring exceptional quality, efficiency, and cleanliness while upholding Forbes FiveStar service standards. This role is responsible for training, coaching, and supporting Laundry Service Professionals and collaborating closely with Housekeeping Leadership.

Essential Job FunctionsSupervise and coordinate daily laundry operations in a luxury hotel environmentTrain, coach, and mentor Laundry Service Professionals to meet quality assurance and service expectationsMonitor performance, conduct inspections, and provide ongoing feedbackMaintain cleanliness, organization, and overall condition of the laundry facilityEnsure proper operation, maintenance, and safety of laundry equipmentImplement and manage daily processes, workflows, procedures, and checklistsServe as liaison between Laundry, Housekeeping, and other operational departmentsSupport and lead daily lineups and departmental briefingsServe as Manager on Duty (MOD) for Laundry and Housekeeping when assignedCommunicate professionally with guests and internal departmentsMaintain detailed knowledge of resort amenities, services, and promotionsFollow all Forbes FiveStar and Five Diamond standardsEducation & ExperienceMust be 18 years of age or olderHigh school diploma or GED requiredMinimum 2 years of experience in laundry operations and/or housekeepingPrevious supervisory or leadership experience preferredStrong verbal and written communication skills.
