Overview Join our dynamic team as a Laundry Attendant, where your attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness will help create a welcoming and pristine environment for our guests. In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently handling all laundry operations, ensuring linens, towels, uniforms, and other items are cleaned to the highest standards. Your positive attitude and dedication will contribute to an exceptional guest experience and uphold the quality standards of our establishment. Responsibilities Operate laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, and ironing machines to process linens, towels, uniforms, and guest clothing. Sort laundry items by color, fabric type, and cleaning requirements to ensure proper handling. Perform cleaning tasks including stain removal, folding, pressing, and packaging of clean laundry items. Maintain cleanliness of laundry areas and equipment to ensure a safe and efficient workspace. Follow all safety protocols related to chemical handling and equipment operation. Assist with inventory management by monitoring supplies of detergents, cleaning agents, and linens. Collaborate with housekeeping or hotel staff to meet specific laundry needs promptly and accurately. Qualifications Prior experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Knowledge of laundry processes including washing, drying, dry cleaning, and stain removal techniques. Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and efficiency. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting heavy loads. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
