Laundry Attendant

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all linens and garments are cleaned, pressed, and maintained to the highest standards of quality. This role is crucial in providing exceptional service in a hotel environment, contributing to the overall guest experience. Responsibilities Launder and dry clean linens, uniforms, and guest clothing according to established procedures. Operate washing machines, dryers, and other laundry equipment safely and efficiently. Sort, fold, and organize clean laundry items for easy distribution. Inspect all items for stains or damages before processing and report any issues to management. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Collaborate with housekeeping staff to ensure timely availability of clean linens for guest rooms and public areas. Adhere to all hotel policies regarding laundry operations and customer service. Qualifications Previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role within a hotel setting is preferred but not required. Familiarity with laundering techniques, including dry cleaning processes. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively. Must be able to lift heavy loads and stand for extended periods.
